Home Away from Home

2013-10-27 09.54.59 Milano2, Italy.

Apartments in Milan are difficult to find. Majority of people prefer to live in the centre (Duomo), however, sizing is not easy so you need to venture further afield. We settled on Milano2 as this is close to Mitchell’s school, however, for Dean it’s a 45 minute trek each day on bus with Metro. The nearest metro is Cascina Gobba (Greem Line) with change at CentraleFS then to San Donato. Other than that its just a 15 minute drive but unfortunately the office does not have showers nor any real cycle lanes from home to work. With roads so dangerous many people choose not to ride.
Milano2 to centre is 15 minutes away so other than the connecting bus there are not too many issues.

All apartment blocks are 6 Levels with the top level having internal double level and terrace. Due to all our items, our priority was storage with garage (i.e. Box) for car. The apartment also had cellar storage but this was removed at checkin, so we needed to secure an additional Box for storage items.
Total area is 260 m2 but only one shower, so no visitors to complain…..

House has the following information:

4 bedrooms, 1 reception, 3 bathrooms
A four bedroom family house off Fulham Palace Road comprising of a double reception, eat-in kitchen, garden, W.C., and three further bathrooms.

Location is great right next to Fulham FC, not that I support Fulham (oh NO !!!) but they have many season tickets (I know why as they are not too good), so we plan to by 2 x Adults and 1 x Junior. The Junior for Mitchee as on weekends they ahve things for kids and the extra Adult for visitors (first to arrive gets it !!!). Can’t wait.
